I have been wearing pouch swimwear for a few years now and feel quite comfortable in them. Of course the first time I ever put one on I wasn’t too sure about them being all that comfortable or not. The pouch that I had picked out seemed a bit too snug for my liking, but I could see why they would need to be. Wearing a loose pouch would probably ensure that part of my body was hanging out with every other step I took and that is something you don’t want happening on the beach.

I have often thought back on that first pouch swimwear design and wondered how I ever got involved in it. It seems that items like this would be the last thing I would ever enjoy but, now that I have been wearing them, the beach just isn’t the same without them. I guess things like this are more of an acquired taste for some people but, for me, I think I had always been looking for swimwear that was a bit different from everyone else. These designs are definitely different from anything you would expect, especially once you get a pair of them on.

There are still some places that won’t allow guys to wear pouch swimwear out in public. That is the unfortunate truth of the situation that we all live in today but it is getting better. More and more beaches are starting to understand that guys want different options as far as their swimwear is concerned and they are allowing things like pouches to be worn. I happen to go to one of those beaches and I see a lot of guys wearing swimwear they probably wouldn’t have worn a few years ago. It’s definitely a great time to be alive.
